Chapter II
Tristan watched as his phone lite up against his face, he rolled over in his King size bed, and place his cell on the black nightstand. The phone announced “You have an incoming call from...” when he hit the ignore button his screen. He scratched his curly hair as he rose from his bed and walked out of his bedroom toward the kitchen. A pile of letters rested on top of the dining table as he walked passed to the coffee maker. He filled the coffee maker with coffee and water and put a bagel into the toaster. His phone yelled “You have an incoming call from Michael Smith” as Tristan rolled his eyes.
“What the fuck does he want?” He asked while pouring a cup of his fresh hot coffee brew.
There was a knock on the door, Tristan looked over to the stove to check the time, and walked to the door.
“Who is it?” He questioned.
“It’s me Greg. Let me in” Greg said as he stood outside at the door.
Tristan opened the door and let Greg into his apartment. Greg walked to the kitchen table and take a seat. The air became thick and dense as he enter into the apartment and Tristan felt cool on the tips of his hairs. Greg reclined in the tall chair with a smirk on his face. Tristan walked over to the toaster and take out his bagel.
“So what bring you other here...This is not your normal location. It is a little too low rent for you.” Tristan asked as he rubbed sweet strawberry jam on his bagel.
“Oh you know I was just in the neighborhood” Greg looked over in the living room to see a picture frame was turned over.
“Really now Greg? That’s not like you” Tristan said as took a bite of his bagel.
“So are we going to cut the small talk?” Greg asked as Tristan raised an eyebrow.
“What do you mean by that” Tristan stared at Greg.
“Oh you know what I mean...” Greg pointing over the picture frame that was faced.
“I don’t have time for that as you can see I got better things to worry about” Tristan lifted up the letters and letting them fly down onto the table.
“I see you got problem and an issue but you know what you are letting a good man go.” Greg smirked as he seen Tristan’s face reddened.
“I think it's time for you leave” Tristan yelled.
“No need to be so hostile. I will be going see you later Tristan and oh yea red is an excellent color for you” Greg said as he walked out the door and slammed it.
Tristan sighed and reach for his pack of Black & Mild. He soon discovered that he was out.
“Damn...what the fuck is going on with me?” He questioned as he threw the letters and plate off the table.
